MD COSMETIC CELEBRATES 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY ON JUNE 2

Abbotsford’s premier cosmetic clinic hosts open house party with prizes, discounts and a fundraiser for the Women’s Resource Society of the Fraser Valley


May 25, 2011 (Abbotsford, B.C.) – MD Cosmetic & Laser Clinic will be marking 10 years of business in the Fraser Valley on Thursday, June 2nd with an open house celebration complete with prizes, specials and a fundraiser for the Women’s Resource Society of the Fraser Valley.

Since 2001, Dr. Haneef Alibhai and his team have treated more than 8,000 patients and have trained over 900 doctors in aesthetic medicine. When the clinic first opened it was the only full service cosmetic clinic in Abbotsford to offer procedures such as Botox Cosmetic™, injectable fillers like Juvederm and laser skin treatments. Since then, MD Cosmetic & Laser Clinic has remained the Fraser Valley’s premier cosmetic clinic and has expanded its services to include the latest and most advanced non-invasive cosmetic treatments available.

At the heart of the celebration will be a fundraiser for the Women’s Resource Society of the Fraser Valley (WRSFV), an organization that works for the safety and security of women and children by providing emergency shelter and transition houses. The clinic will be raisings funds for the nonprofit organization by selling balloons containing valuable prizes, as well as donating funds from each spin of the “MD Wheel of Beauty”. Dr. Alibhai and his team hope to raise over a thousand dollars for the WRSFV.

Invitees include clinic patients, business associates and the media. The open house celebration will be held from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, with hors d’oeuvres served from 5:00-8:00 pm, and refreshments and cake available all day. Free prizes will be given away throughout the day and the clinic will also be having its biggest sale ever on products and services.

About Dr. Haneef Alibhai
In addition to being one of Canada’s leading cosmetic physicians, Dr. Haneef Alibhai is the Medical Director at MD Cosmetic & Laser Clinic. Dr. Alibhai is the Past-President of the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine. He is a clinical instructor for the UBC Faculty of Medicine and a Certified Physician Trainer for Allergan (Botox Cosmetic, Juvederm).
